Trial vs. paying immediately

Starting a trial still collects a payment card up front - nothing is charged until the trial period ends, and you can cancel any time before then with nothing ever billed. This is so a club's subscription doesn't lapse unexpectedly the moment the trial ends; if you'd rather not have a card on file at all during a trial, contact support.
