Templates: saving common flight setups

If the same tow pilot flies the same tow plane most days, or the same instructor is giving lessons in the same glider, save it as a template instead of retyping it every time. A template can include a pilot, an instructor, and - if it represents an aerotow - a full second aircraft/pilot/instructor for the glider leg.

Templates appear in the Quick Start row alongside your aircraft, with a short label (just the registration, or two registrations separated by a slash for an aerotow) - hover over one to see the full pilot/instructor names in a tooltip, so the row stays compact even for a busy club with lots of saved presets.

Clicking a template launches the flight(s) immediately, exactly like clicking a plain aircraft button.
