Creating a flight manually

The New Flight form (next to Quick Start) lets you fill in everything up front: aircraft, pilot, an optional instructor, and notes. This creates the flight as Planned rather than airborne - useful when you know a flight is coming up but it hasn't departed yet.

Check Aerotow to add a glider leg in the same form - both the tow plane and the glider get created together, linked to each other, and a single "Aerotow Departure" button launches both at once from the Active Flights table.
